How to Serve

The Canton Fire Department relies not just on its volunteer firefighters but also on the generosity of the community as a whole. The equipment and supplies needed to keep this a safe and thriving place to live and to work comes in part from the money that is donated by the citizens and businesses of Canton.

The Department solicits donations several times a year, although donations are accepted at any time. A letter drive is often very helpful in reminding the taxpayers of the need for their continued support. During this time they are urged to drop by the Fire Station or send their checks made payable to:

Canton Fire Department
1390 S. Hwy. 19
Canton, Texas 75103

Two times a year the Department will also "get out the boot". Located downtown at several intersections, the volunteer firemen will collect money directly from motorist. The Department uses these drives to collect for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in their battle against neuromuscular diseases and Christmas for Kids.

The Canton Fire Department greatly appreciates all of the support it receives from the community and is very proud of the equipment and supplies that this support has allowed them to purchase. To the many who have given so generously, Thank You!
